Become an Ambassador: The Ambassador Ambassador Team serves
by raising awareness through speaking engagements representation at at events and and equipping churches and and community partners with resources to engage in in in the fight against
commercial sexual exploitation (Men & Women 18 and older )
Encounter Encounter Outreach: Out Out of Darkness’ outreach initiative Encounter Encounter spends extended time on the the the streets and and and in in in in strip clubs and and and brothels loving people well and and and listening to to their stories This specific Friday night outreach is is is an an an opportunity for volunteers to to to to to come together to to to to to encounter encounter encounter God encounter encounter encounter individuals in in in in in the the the the sex industry and and invite them into encounters with the the the Most High God (Men & Women 18 and and older )
Friday Night 7 PM
- 3 AM Jail Mentorship: Individuals in in in in in the commercial sex industry often end up being incarcerated at at at some point This is is a a a a a a a a a a a great opportunity for the the the the Out of of o Darkness Team to to engage with them them offer mentoring and and other referral service and and assist them them in in in developing the the the the skills that they need to to to live a a a a a a a restored life (Men & Women 18 and older )
Jail Jail Pen Pen Pal Pal Team: The Out of Darkness Jail Jail Ministry and Pen Pen Pal Pal Program began when a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a woman in in a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a local jail traded her lunch tray for for a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a stamp so that she could send a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a letter to Out of of Darkness asking for for help Since then the the organization has received hundreds of of letters from women all over Georgia requesting encouragement and assistance The Pen Pal Team was developed so that Out of Darkness could continue ministering to incarcerated individuals no matter which correctional facility is is currently housing them (Women only 18 and older )
Prayer Prayer Team: Prayer Prayer is central to the the the Out of Darkness culture and and and impact Through live updates and and and regular gatherings the the the Prayer Team is a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a group of passionate individuals who stand in in in the the gap for the the outreaches staff volunteers survivors and and and community with intercession and and encouragement (Men & Women )
Hotline Team: Out of Darkness operates a a a a a a a a a a a 24/7 rescue hotline that can be called any any time day or night by anyone wanting help leaving “the life” of commercial sexual exploitation Trained hotline responders are able to assist women assessing their situation walk through a a a a a a a a a a a a brief intake process and and offer encouragement in in moments o of crisis (Women only 21 and and older )
Rescue Rescue Team: When an an individual calls for help hotline responders activate a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a Rescue Rescue Team Team consisting of a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a man man and and woman to to to meet the the individual and and transport him/her to to to safety Women are are taken to to to an an an an an Out of Darkness safe safe home while other arrangements are are made for for men men men seeking help This incredible team provides tangible safety and and and comfort to each person amidst crisis and and and uncertainty (Men & Women 21 and and and older )
