   A TASTE OF
ROTTERDAM.
   Food
Rotterdam’s wonderful food culture stems from the enormous cultural diversity in the city. Choosing a restaurant from the huge selec- tion in Rotterdam can be challenging. Are you going to Deliplein in Katendrecht, where you can find some of the best restaurants in the city in one street? Or Het Industriegebouw, where you can dine at the much-praised Héroine or at an excellent pizzeria? Or would you prefer to explore one of the neighbourhoods to find the locals’ favourite restaurants? To discover addresses such as Tosca, Louise Petit and Bistro Belén, you may have to go the extra mile, but it’s worth it. Of course, you could make it easy by joining a Bike & Bite Food Tour; along the way, the guide takes you to many of his or her favourite addresses. Be sure to pop into the old Fenix warehouse for local delicacies, such as farmhouse cheeses or home-brewed beer. There are also plenty of vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free options. Try Bertmans or Jack Bean, get something sweet without sugar at SUE or go for the delicious no-cheesecake at Sharp in the South of Rotterdam. The possibilities are endless in this tasteful city.
