   01 KRALINGSE PLAS.
Kralingse Plas is in the middle of the
Kralingse Bos (Kralingen woods). It is a won- derful spot in Rotterdam to get away from city life. You can enjoy a picnic or BBQ on the grass and go for a swim in the Kralingse Plas.
06 DAKPARK DEPOT.
Depot Booijmans van Beuningen is an
icon for architecture, art and culture in Rot- terdam. But there is even more to it. On top of this iconic building, you will find a rooftop park and café. This park helps to make Rot- terdam a greenery city and to use our space more efficiently.
07 MUSEUMPARK.
Museumpark is another oasis in the
middle of the city where you can make a quick getaway from all the hustle. The park contains a beautiful rose garden, great views and sus- tainable car parking. The car park, de¬signed by Paul de Ruiter, serves as a cistern for excess rainwater. In this way we keep the city safe by using our space in a multifunctional man- ner. The park got its name thanks to where it is located, and you will find several muse- ums such as the Kunsthal, Huis Sonneveld and Depot around the park. A nice multifunctional place to combine meeting people, nature and culture.
08 MAASVLAKTE BEACH.
Enjoy a sunny day at Maasvlakte be-
ach in Rotterdam. The beach and dunes pro- tect the western side of the Maaslvlakte 2 from the North Sea. Here you can simply lie down and enjoy the sun, or take a stroll or go for a swim. On less-sunny days, enjoy a stroll on the beach to clear your mind and to escape the demands of your day-to-day life.
09 HOEK VAN HOLLAND.
Relax or be active on the long, wide
sandy beach of Hoek van Holland. Take long walks through National Park Hollandse Dui- nen. Let the wind blow through your hair on the Koningin Emmaboulevard while looking at the enormous ships. From the blue water to the yellow dunes and the green forest, Hoek van Holland has many beautiful faces.

SCHOONOORD.
Behind entrance gates dating from the 18th century, you will find Historische Tuin Schoon- oord (Historical Garden Schoonoord). Thanks to its historical elements, location and extraor- dinary vegetation it is designated as a nati- onal monument. Enjoy the beautiful flowers, plants and trees and see if you can spot a kingfisher or a tawny owl.
     03
DAKPARK.
09

You won’t have time to get bored thanks to the amazing views, places to have a picnic or BBQ, take a nice stroll or splash around on the water stairs.
   04
ZUIDERPARK.
In Rotterdam Zuid you will find the lively green Zuiderpark, the largest city park in the Netherlands. There is a playground, a beach and a swamp area, as well as wood- land, islands and water. Festivals and other activities have regularly been organised in this park since long, long ago.

HET PARK.
One of the most charming spots in the city is Het Park, near the Euromast, designed in 1852 by Dutch architect Zocher and his son, who were inspired by the English coun- try style to design this oasis in Rotterdam. This park lends itself to a nice stroll, some fresh air and a good picnic.
