Greetings Sorors!
I continue to be excited about L.E.V.E.L.ing U.P., the Broward County Alumnae Chapter, and to lead in the best interest of our membership. We celebrate 67 years of Sisterhood, Scholarship, Service and Social Action this year in Broward County! How amazing is that?
As outlined in our National Strategic Plan, our chapter priorities are organizational health, social action, community impact, empowerment of women and girls and appreciation of our culture. These strategic priorities are undergirded by our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust and are focused on our members, organizational
infrastructure, and community. To that end, we must keep our volunteer workforce (us) in motion, maintain a high level of sorors engagement, produce impactful events, meet a need, and bring pride to our chapter!
There is a place for everyone to work in our chapter and we can always benefit from new ideas. There are many opportunities to get involved. So, if you have not done so already, please sign up for a committee and let’s work harder to shine!
In the Bond of Sisterhood,
Valerie R. Harley-Gardner, Chapter President president@bcacdst.org
