Congratulations to the following sorors:
Beatrice Henry Baptiste has been selected to participate in the SBBC District Leadership Preparation Program
Velma Blaine, the first African-American manager in Broward County, retired after serving 48 1/2 years as a District Manager for Fort Lauderdale East Federal Social Security Office
Cynthia Burroughs-Wimberly has been appointed to the Florida International University Business Women in Leadership Certificate Program Advisory Panel. She will take her place on the Advisory Panel in March 2022
Dr. Brittany Lee-Wright defended "Not Easily Broken: Misogynoir and Counter-Storytelling Narratives"
in achieving her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Reading, Literacy, and Cognition.
Jenny Thelwell has been selected to participate in the Delta Authors on Tour in the Farwest Region (April 30, 2022).
