What makes a hero The answers unknown Because that's an answer That is God's alone
The tornado's gone Joplin's in trouble People are trapped Under the rubble
Out of no where They seem to appear Acting on instinct They put aside fear
Compassion and love Is all they see
And all thought of danger For the moment flee
Heroes of Joplin Praise God they're still there Just look around you They're everywhere
Bound and determined In Jesus to win Yes, praise God for the Heroes of Joplin
