Lord let these Vietnam Poems touch the heart Of each of the vets That played a part
During those years
They sacrificed much May these poems be used As Your healing touch
They experienced Horrors untold
But to their hurts Many were so cold
Jesus use these poems to Comfort and embrace Their hurtful past
With undying grace
Lord may these poems put Their past in Your hand
So You can remove the hurts From that far distant land
And Lord may they find These poems to be true Simply because They’re inspired by You
Psalm 12, Verse 5.
I will set them in the safety for which they yearn.
