Furthermore, Forbes reported that the United States and China are the top users of the
Panama Canal. However, the strong economic performance has not translated into a
collective prosperity. Panama has the second worst income distribution in Latin
America, where roughly, one-fourth of the population (1 million people) lives in
poverty. With that said, from 2006 to 2012, the poverty in Panama was reduced by 10
percent. Nonetheless, Forbes rates Panama as the 64th best country for business. Click

The future seems to be bright at least as far as the infrastructure of Panama is
concerned. How the economical distribution will manifest is dependent on its
governing; a subject that would require more research and trips to Panama. My wife
(la jefe) and I plan to make Panama a reoccurring vacation destination. We may have
just scratched the surface with this visit since it was so hastily planned. More than
anything, it is the spirit of the people and its multiculturalism I enjoyed the most.
Until next time, safe travels and be kind to one another. God’s continued blessings.
