“BIENVENIDOS A PANAMÁ? (Welcome to Panama?) ”
 The flights from Los Angeles to Atlanta and then from Atlanta to Panama City were
 very pleasant experiences. We flew Delta Airlines for both legs of the trip. The Delta
 Planes were roomy and comfortable. The pre-flight process was seamless and well
 organized. The value of early boarding seems to hinge on space for overhead luggage
 bins for carry on stuff. The overhead bins are roomy and well designed to provide
 more headroom atop passenger seats. There is assigned seating, which is nice, to avoid
 that awkward question to that sitting passenger, “Is that seat taken?” “Yes it is.”
 “Well too bad, I’m sitting there anyway.” Now I have never witness that type of
 conversation or been apart of one. I’m sure it has happened. They actually serve food
 that is available for purchase and not just peanuts, pretzels, and cookies with that two-
 ounce glass of whatever some airlines give you complimentary to drink. A tip to the
 wise, always ask for the full can of your complimentary beverage. The Delta flight
 attendants are serviceable and affable for the most part. For my money, I have yet to
 see any flight attendants match the wit or jocularity of the Southwest Airlines crews.
 They crack me up.
 Our flight arrived in Panama City around 9:30 pm. Yes it was nighttime and it was late
 and we both were physically, emotionally, and mentally spent. Walking through the
 Panama City, Tocumen International Airport, gave you the impression that you were
 still in the United States. Very modern, with the typical eateries and shops you would
 see in the United States. I was quite impressed. Then again, I really did not know
 what to expect. So far, so good. Then this happened ...
