Aldora Harrison (Fort McMurray, AB):
After completing Part B of Level 1 training in October 2020, I was sharing with my children the songs we learned — one that really made an impression was “Rejoice and be glad, Blessed are you...”
When we attended Sunday
Mass one week, the scriptures
aligned with the lyrics from the song. As I watched my daughter in the pew, she perked right up at the words from Scripture, and she started singing the song with actions, as if it was something she had always known; it was just beautiful to watch her contemplate in her own way.
Eric Chow (Vancouver, BC): Catechesis of the Good Shepherd has been a welcome addition to our school curriculum. When asked about his time at atrium, our six-year-old son said that he loves it because he gets to learn about the mysteries of Jesus.
On occasion, he has said that atrium has been his highlight of the day, with recess second!
Andrea Laughlin (New Hamburg, ON): I wanted to take a moment and express my utmost gratitude for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program. Our daughter, Grace, is three-and-a-half years of age and has been praying with catechists via Zoom since September. She loves it—her faith is alive. There is nothing more beautiful than a child in prayer. We have enjoyed watching our child bloom in her faith.

Dagmara Fallenbuchl (Nepean, ON): Both my daughter and I found CGS Zoom version to be of great value to us. In these times when we are so removed from the sacraments and our faith community we found CGS to be a beautiful link to our faith outside our home and to the community. These days when family needs to be self-sufficient in more ways than usual, having her exposed to others who practice, value and live our faith was very good. She enjoyed the sessions, and brings things up all
the time that she has learned.
Mary-Elizabeth Walker (Waterloo, ON): Evelyn (age 2) keeps repeating to us and herself, "Jesus died on the cross and rose again.”
On Good Shepherd Sunday, when we had a picture of the Good Shepherd on the prayer table, I told her, “This is the Good Shepherd.”
Evelyn responded, "It's Jesus. He hugs me and cries.”
Blessed are you, Lord God of all Creation...
Victoria (age 8)
