SMALLWOOD’S RETREAT & STATE PARK
Located on a Potomac River tributary this 628-acre park was home to Revolutionary War General William Smallwood, known as Smallwood’s Retreat. The park features a marina, boat launch, camping, tournament- level bass fishing and the Mattawoman Creek Art Center.

ST. IGNATIUS CHURCH, CEMETERY & ST. THOMAS MANOR HOUSE

THOMAS STONE NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE
This site features Haberdeventure,
the National Park Service operated home of five generations of the Stone family, including Thomas Stone, one
