BWCC St Andrew’s Ball 2019
The awards to the cadets were dispensed by various officers and dignitaries, HCol Bruce Bolton; HLCol Jonathan Birks; CI Gregory Abedi; Honorary Commandant Tom Bourne; 2Lts Mike Lanno & William Howe; LCol Bruno Plourde, Regimental CO and Guest of Honour; CI Nolan Cunningham; Corps Commandant Maj Felix Macia; and President of the Sponsor Support Committee, Michael Harris. As the whole ACR is now available on the BW website, it would perhaps be most useful to direct the readership of Canada’s Red Hackle to that site to learn which awards went to which cadets, though we should especially point out that this year’s Lord Strathcona Award most deservedly went to MWO Mira Abedi. The whole ceremony was rounded out with LCol Plourde, Tom Bourne, HCol Bolton, Michael Harris, and Maj Macia all offering their thoughts and observations regarding the Corps activities during the 2019-2020 year.
