Who and why?
This Management & Leadership Course is for new and existing managers in yachting, who would like the skills and knowledge to inspire their teams to maximise performance and get greater clarity and understanding of their own leadership journey.
Any Team Leader, whether you’re in an interior role as Chief Stew, HOD or Purser, or managing and leading a team in a deck position, this course will help you build better teams under your own leadership and accelerate your career.
The course will provide you with skills and knowledge that you can directly apply in your role, rather than the more theory-based HELM courses.
Upon successful completion, you will gain the industry recognised GUEST Unit 17 Foundation Leadership and the Unit 22 Advanced leadership qualifications which are equivalent to HELM O and HELM M, a free Mental Health Awareness Course and become part of the incredible leadership alumni programme at TCA.
The course also provides you with a solid skill set which transfers into any land-based role and outside of yachting.
