A comprehensive program open to all HODs looking to gain practical knowledge and skills in Management, Leadership, Mental Health Awareness, Human Vulnerability, Cyber Security, HR, Recruitment and Retention.
The HOD Leadership & Crew Administration Course is open to all Heads of DepartmentincludingOfficers,Pursers,ChiefSteward/esses,Chief Engineers, Bosuns and DPAs.
This transformational HOD program provides all the practical knowledge and tools needed to navigate the tricky world of managing teams on board, taking in a wide range of subjects including Management, Leadership, Mental Health Awareness, Human Vulnerability, Cyber Security, HR, Recruitment and Retention. The course brings together a diverse portfolio of participants, including those at HOD, management level or equivalent, with a shared interest and experience in leadership roles in the maritime sector.
The program will provide you with practical knowledge that you can directly apply in your role. Upon successful completion, you will gain the industry- recognised GUEST Unit 17 Foundation Leadership and Unit 22 Advanced Leadership Qualifications. Alongside the MHFA accredited Mental Health Awareness Certificate, Human & Cyber Vulnerability Certificate with Romeo Foxtrot, and the TCA-accredited HR, Recruitment & Retention Certificate.
