THE GREAT OUTDOORS
ADVENTURE
& ACTIVITIES
Experience something new in Mid Wales.
From pottery taster days in Builth Wells to alpaca
trekking in the Brecon Beacons, to biking, horse riding
and climbing. There are lots of activities to get you out
and about or trying something different.
Visit The Silver Mountain Experience, a place where
history, myth and legend collide, with a choice of guided
tours discovering the history of Mid Wales’ very own
Silver-Lead Mine, or experience Welsh fantasy and myth
in one of their actor led shows.
Mid Wales has two National Trails: Offa's Dyke Path that
takes you through Mid Wales as part of a 177-mile
journey, and Glyndwr's Way, 135 miles long; linking
Welshpool, Machynlleth and Knighton (the only town
in Wales that’s on two National Trails).
Try your hand at clay pigeon shooting, fishing, falconry,
or bird watching in one of the region’s many nature
reserves. Whatever outdoor pursuits or new experiences
you're interested in, you can tick them off your wish-list
in Mid Wales
