We would like to welcome today’s
visitors Glamorgan Wanderers to Emlyn Park.
Good afternoon everyone.
We have seen some very tough battles with the Wanderers and suffered a heavy defeat
earlier this season going down 48 points to 10. This is something that we hope to turn
around today. The Wanderers have started strong this season and we can expect another
competitive match.
Talywain however, over recent weeks, have been through a bit of a stop and start period,
but everyone at our club is confident the team will be up for this. We are very proud of the
effort the boys are pulling in. And you cannot fault their commitment to the club. I'm sure
you will see some more great results coming in our favour.
Thank you all our sponsors and supporters for your continued support, I hope to catch
you in the club for refreshments. My only requirement from you all is to please respect the
referee.
On a sadder note. Everyone at the club wish to pass on our deepest condolences to
Bet Hancock and all the family, after the passing of our former, player, life member and
supporter Mike. Mike was a club legend and a massive character and he will not only be
missed by all at the club, but by the whole community.
Yours in sport,
Jeff Clutterbuck
