We would like to welcome today’s
visitors Aberdare to Emlyn Park.
I would like to extend a warm welcome to the Players, Committee
and Supporters of Aberdare for today’s Championship East encounter.
This is the second time we have played Aberdare in recent years having faced them in
the Division 2 cup away a couple of years ago. On that occasion, Aberdare came out on
top. Since then the two clubs have mirrored each other’s progression and success and we
find ourselves next to each other in the Championship table this year.
If league form is to be believed this match should be a close encounter that produces
some great expansive rugby.
Today, we have our second sponsors day of the year and I would like to take the
opportunity to thank all our sponsors for their generous support - we couldn’t do this
without you.
I look forward to seeing you all in the clubhouse later enjoying refreshments,
served by our stewardess Tamar and her team.
Please ensure that you all respect the referee and please stay behind the barriers.
Yours in sport,
Jeff Clutterbuck
Chairman
