New challenges are something
that this team of coaches and players
embrace and will be well up for.

I would like to start by reflecting on last season, when our coaches and players surpassed all our
expectations by finishing a very respectable 6th in Championship East, topping all six newly promoted
sides. Along the way we had some very tough games but managed to pull of some great results
against really well-established teams. This season however will throw up many different challenges
with new teams entering the championship, and teams benefiting from last years’ experience.
We have some several new signings but on the
other hand have lost of some key players which will
give us a different look this year. But new challenges
are something that this team of coaches and players
embrace and will be well up for.
I am excited and looking forward to the season
ahead, if last season is anything to go by we can
look forward to some expansive rugby. We have
some great coaches that realise the importance of
teamwork, collaboration and the collective effort of
all club members. I wish our coaches, players and
all involved in our great club the very best of luck
in this campaign.
I am thrilled that for the first time in years, we will
field a youth team this season which is fantastic and
ensures the club has a great future, this is testament
to the hard work our Mini & Junior section has put
in over many years. I am proud of what this group
of people have done for our club and the role they
play within the community by providing a positive
environment for all, I thank everyone involved.
Thank you to our generous sponsors, without your
kind donations we just would not be where we are
today, our club officers, committee, staff and many
volunteers who have played a massive part in our
journey to date. Finally, thanks to our supporters
that turn up week in week out.
I have three wishes for this season; 1. I want all the
players to play with a smile and enjoy every moment.
2. Remember the referee is human so please respect
them, 3. Let's work together to make this a memorable
and enjoyable season.
