We would like to welcome today’s
visitors Ynysddu RFC to Emlyn Park.
Good afternoon everyone and a warm welcome to Emlyn Park.
Today we welcome back our close rivals Ynysddu, only this time it is in a Championship
clash. Over the past few seasons we have shared many tough battles with Ynysddu,
we competed hard at the top of Division 1 East last season and both managed to gain
promotion and likewise the season before where we were both promoted from Division
2 East.
I have no doubt whatsoever that today's match will be as tough as we can expect this
season and likewise for Ynysddu. We will face many new teams this season, taking on
many different challenges as we adapt to life in the Championship, however, this week we
face a team who we know very well. I am positive though that our lads will give 100% for
us as they always do and we will enjoy an expansive game despite the wet conditions
under foot.
Please get behind the team and our coaches as we go through this exciting new season.
I thank you all for your continued support and look forward to seeing you all in the
clubhouse later enjoying refreshments served by our stewardess Louise and her team.
