What is a kelp. subscription?
The Crew Academy's live programs are delivered exclusively via the kelp platform
and are available to book on an individual basis. Alternatively, learners can take
advantage of a subscription-based model which gives access to unlimited learning
from its vast library of over 1,500 courses and 10,000+ hours of learning.
All content on kelp is recognised and delivered by leading international accreditation
bodies and training schools, including IAMI, GUEST, CPD, MCA, SYBAss, The Crew
Academy, and Whitehorse Maritime Group, and others.
How does it work?
All students enrolling in a live or eLearning program with The Crew Academy will
gain instant access to their specific course materials, self-study modules, and course
resources within the kelp. platform, providing you with a smarter, more intuitive
learning platform.
Students looking to book their Yacht Owner's Representative Program can book
as normal through The Crew Academy, or they can unlock the entire library of
training programs on kelp with a level 4 'Leader' subscription which includes the
YORP alongside a range of other specialist live programs, eLearning courses and
resources.
kelp. is far more than just a training portal for our courses, it's the culmination of 16
years of developing and delivering exceptional courses at The Crew Academy, and
