Creative Industries
Evidence suggests that more younger people
would like a career within the creative industries,
yet it is still only a small part of the economy.
However, Neath Port Talbot has many new and
growing businesses in this sector and with this
sector becoming more digitally focussed could
engage a stronger female representation to the
digital sector.
Creative education can serve many purposes, from
confidence building to self-expression through to
generating wider appeal in digital processes,
therefore young adults need to be continually
encouraged as many skills they will learn are core
transferable and the new creative companies
moving to the region will also have a wider talent
pool to choose from.
