the season. Jacob Demesi, Huw Jones and Aled Jones were also involved
in the college leagues, with Aled and Jacob reaching finals with their
respective school/ colleges and Huw Jones and Joel Price also trialled for
the Bluesdevelopment squad.
Many of last year’s youth remain at Brecon, playing for both the 1sts and
Athletic, which is great to see and we all wish them luck.
This coming season sees a very young squad of 32 players, including 20
of last years under 16s, running out for Brecon youth. The team will play in
Cardiff North 1 league, against the likes of Ystrad Rhondda, Tylorstown and
Gilfach Goch.
An experienced coaching team of Alan Taylor, Jonny Bowen and Martin
Keylock will be at the helm this year. Ashley Gould, Laine Skinner and
Jeff Evans complete the Youth support team, as team managers and
physio. We are all looking forward to a competitive and challenging season
ahead with this talented team.
