   CROESO E WELCOM
TODAY’S VISITORS TATASTEEL RFC
Hoffwn estyn croeso cynnes i bawb i Barc de Pugh a 'nôl yn y clybhows ar ôl y gêm. Diolch o galon i'n noddwyr a'r Is-Lywyddion am eu cefnogaeth hael a pharhaol eto eleni. Diolch hefyd i'r chwaraewyr, y teuluoedd, y dorf ffyddlon, yr hyfforddwwyr a'r Pwyllgor am eu gwaith caled drwy gydol y flwyddyn.
Today we welcome Tata Steel RFC to Parc De Pugh. Tata Steel have had a tough start to this season having played eight league matches, six of which have been against sides in the top seven in the Championship. They will be looking to secure their first victory of the season today.
After the narrow Cup victory at Bonymaen two weeks ago, last weekend we finally returned to league action with a difficult journey to Maesteg. After the postponement of the Cup match on two weekends, we had lost some ground on Narberth. It was imperative we got a good result in Maesteg to continue our 100% record and apply pressure on the current league leaders.
Maesteg proved to be dogged opponents and were not easy to put away. Bit by bit throughout the second half Brecon asserted control dominating territory and the scoreboard. As the second half came to an end we eventually secured the try bonus point and a good win away from home.
I wish both sides the best of luck today and hope that we all have an enjoyable afternoon in the best of company and a great game of competitive rugby. I would like to extend a wel- come to you all to join us at the Club house after the game where I am sure Sharon, our stewardess, will ensure you are all well catered for.
I would like to welcome three groups of Matchday sponsors to the game today, National Grid staff, Ashley Haworth, The Three Horsehoes, Groesffordd and guests and Ian Matthews and guests. On behalf of the Club many thanks for your generous support. I hope you all have an enjoyable afternoon and look forward to seeing you in the Clubhouse after the game.
Best wishes,
Andy Lewis Cadeirydd/Chairman.
