   CROESO E WELCOM
TODAY’S VISITORS NARBERTH RFC
Hoffwn estyn croeso cynnes i bawb i Barc de Pugh a 'nôl yn y clybhows ar ôl y gêm. Diolch o galon i'n noddwyr a'r Is-Lywyddion am eu cefnogaeth hael a pharhaol eto eleni. Diolch hefyd i'r chwaraewyr, y teuluoedd, y dorf ffyddlon, yr hyfforddwwyr a'r Pwyllgor am eu gwaith caled drwy gydol y flwyddyn.
We wish to extend a warm welcome to the visiting Committee, players, members, and supporters from Narberth RFC to Parc De Pugh, and trust that all will have enjoyed their journey up from the westernmost County of Cymru, namely Pembrokeshire.
The settlement of Narberth has enjoyed an upsurge in popularity in recent years, although it is fair to say that their rugby club, commonly known as The Otters, have enjoyed a prominent position in Welsh and Pembrokeshire rugby circles for many decades. Following periods as one of the consistently stronger teams in District H, the growth of the National League system has seen the Club from the heart of the town move to a point where they have maintained a presence in the upper echelons of the Leagues for a long period.
This has included significant time in The Championship, leading to the growth of the club, both on and off the pitch, such that they are an experienced and successful outfit at this level. Their Lewis Lloyd Ground reflects that status and is one that sets a standard in terms of the facilities and off field welcome. This experience is reflected in the current standing of The Otters at the top of The Championship West, and they come to the relatively unfamiliar area of the Bannau Brycheiniog with a 100% playing record in the league. They will be keen to extend that record, having suffered a narrow loss in the semi-final of the Championship Cup in their last outing.
Whilst both teams have arrived at a position where their position in the higher reaches of this league is guaranteed, both have much to play for, as the Otters look to seal the title in the coming weeks, and Brecon still hold hopes of coming second in their inaugural season at this level
We wish all teams the best of luck and hope that we all have an enjoyable afternoon in the best of company and three great games of quality rugby. We would extend the warmest of welcomes to you all to join us at the Club house after the game where I am sure Sharon, our stewardess, and her great team, will ensure you are all well catered for.
Best wishes,
Rich Morris Chairman
