03 / OUR PROGRAMS
The Crew Academy's Core Operational and Technical Program for the YORP
is delivered online in three parts GUEST units 41, 42 and 43.
This section of the course covers all the practical tools ORs need to have in
order to deliver a new build or refit: from project management and
compliance; to the finer details of yacht design and build; as well as financial,
legal and administrative knowledge.
The blended learning courses are delivered and completed through a series
of learning tools, including:
• Three weekly live sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
from 5-7pm UK time over 8 weeks
• Online self-study via our 4th generation Virtual Learning Environment
• Written assessments
• Access to a library of specialist resources
• Lifetime access to our platform and alumni network
• The program consists of 45 hours of live teaching, 45 hours
of pre-recorded interviews and 60 hours of self study
Within the three weekly sessions, there are two specialist live lectures hosted
in partnership with our range of specialist partners, sharing their in-depth
industry expertise. The second session is an interactive lesson hosted by our
course facilitators, Andrew Roch and Samantha Watson.
