Pencefnarda Farm in Penyrheol
Pencefnarda Farm, in Penyrheol (Gorseinon, Swansea), is a Pobl‐led development delivering 44
affordable‐rent homes (6 one‐bed flats; 18 two‐beds; 18 three‐beds; 2 four‐beds), built by J.G. Hale
Construction with Neath‐sourced subcontractors. Designed as a green, community‐oriented
scheme, it features rain gardens, pollinator‐friendly planting, naturalistic play opportunities and
new public open space.
The “Ffordd Morgan” street name commemorates Morgan Ridler and his charity, Morgan’s Army.
Construction began spring 2022 and completed early 2025. The development reflects our
placemaking ethos ‐ combining affordable housing, environmental enhancement, and community
legacy in Penyrheol.
