Going Beyond
• At Gwynfaen and Ladyhill, additional funding has enabled us to improve on our standard
specification by installing home batteries to enable homes to store and import electricity,
and Mechanical Ventilation and Heat Recovery (MVHR) systems to provide fresh air into the
home and remove moist air from it.
• At Caegar near Llanelli, additional funding from the Homes as Power Stations (HAPS)
funding programme has enabled us to fit radiant panel heating for the first time, alongside
batteries and PV for each home.
• The lessons learned from these projects will inform our future low carbon specification.
