The total net book value of housing properties is split as above. The net book value of housing properties includes land of
£447m (2024:£425m) which is not depreciated.
Housing properties include £35.2m (2024:£31.5m) of capitalised interest, of which £3.7m (2024: £3.1m) was capitalised in the
current year.
Housing properties are held at cost, including deemed cost for previously revalued assets. The consolidated total original
historical cost of housing property assets is £2,010m (2024: £1,895m), of which the consolidated total original historical cost of
completed housing properties is £1,795m (2024:£1,685m).
