About the course
The Crew Academy's New Build & Refit Program is designed
to equip you with the knowledge and expertise to manage the
intricacies of building a superyacht, from concept to delivery.
This comprehensive program delves into every stage, from
understanding shipyard structures and collaboration models to
interpreting technical documents and managing legal contracts.
You'll explore how to assemble a strong owner's team, oversee
project schedules and budgets, and ensure seamless delivery and
commissioning.
Whether you're an aspiring project manager, a seasoned
professional seeking to refine your skills, or an owner's
representative, this course provides the knowledge and expertise
you need.
Learn from industry experts with diverse backgrounds in yachting,
construction, and project management and gain a competitive
edge by mastering the complexities of superyacht construction.
Course Format
A total of 100 hours blended online learning over a 12-week
period:
• Incorporating 12 x 2 hour live masterclasses
and 12 x 2 hour classes
• Group study lessons and break out groups
• 55 hours of guided self-study on “Kelp” learning platform
• 20 hours of specialist video lectures
• Access to our suite of technical build and refit documentation
