   Myths & Legends
The spectacular Leominster Priory features one of England’s last surviving ducking stools, with Leominster’s Jenny Pipes being the last woman in England to be punished in this way. The beautifully renovated Grange Court showcases the King’s carpenter John Abel’s finest work, with the museum mapping the enchanting heritage and history of the town since Roman times. The historical home of the Ryeland Sheep and its top quality wool the ‘Lemner Ore’, explore Leominster’s textile heritage during the Middle Ages.
Markets & Festivals
With a growing variety of markets and festivals, visit the spring medieval pageant or the popular Mayfair with its traditional stalls and rides. Leominster Festival in June is packed with fun and entertainment, while the Leominster Food Fayre in autumn is a foodie delight and the annual Christmas Victorian Festival is a lovely way to start the festive season.
