RULES\u000A1 The Committee reserves the right to refuse entry without assigning any reason to any person attending the Show or to any ground connected with the Show.\u000A2 The Committee reserves the right to cancel any part of or the whole of the show without prior warning.\u000A3 \u201CLOCALS\u201D wish to be considered for \u201CLocal\u201D Awards, they MUST wear a White Armband in Horse Section Classes\u000A27, 38, 44 & 49. The same applies to the Challenge Trophy for Show Jumping Class 5.\u000A3a To qualify as \u2018Local\u2019 exhibitors must reside in the Parishes of: Garthbrengy, Llanddew, Llandefaelog Fach,\u000ALlanfihangel Fechan or Merthyr Cynog.\u000A4 The Insurance Disclaimer on the reverse of the Horse Section Entry Form must be signed appropriately. Signing\u000Ainappropriately or providing false information will invalidate Insurance Cover and all parties involved will forfeit any entry fees paid and be requested to leave the Showground. Random checks will be made to verify information provided and signatures. In the event of a check or a query, no Exhibit Number will be issued until the information requested has been provided or the query has been resolved to the satisfaction of the Horse Section Co-Ordinator. Authorised Guardians of Exhibitors under 16 years of age MUST provide Written Proof of Guardianship from a parent or a relevant authority.\u000A5 No Exhibit will be allowed forward in any Class or Championship unless displaying the Number allocated to that Exhibit as per the Entry Form.\u000A6 A charge of \u00A33.00 per Exhibitor in the Horse Section will be made re: the cost of Ambulance Cover.\u000A7 The Judges\u2019 decision will be final at all times.\u000A8 No unauthorised person shall enter the Show Rings nor interfere with any Judge, Steward or Official during the course of\u000Atheir duties. Any person so doing will forfeit any entry fees paid and be requested to leave the Showground.\u000A9 All objections must be lodged in writing with the relevant Section Co-Ordinator within twenty minutes of completion of the class involved. A deposit of \u00A320.00 must accompany the objection. The deposit will be\u000Arefunded if the objection is sustained.\u000A10 It is the responsibility of Exhibitors showing in more than one ring to present their exhibits promptly for judging.\u000APlease check the Schedule before making entries AS NO ENTRY FEES WILL BE REFUNDED.\u000A11 Protective headgear MUST be worn by ANY PERSON mounted anywhere on the Showground.\u000A12 Exhibitors\u2019 ages will be taken as from 1st January of the year of the Show.\u000A13 Ridden Horse Section exhibits must be four years old or over > PASSPORTS MAY BE CHECKED.\u000A14 Any Exhibitor seen riding a horse or pony (Leading Rein Ponies excepted) in the \u201CIn-Hand Collecting Ring\u201D will\u000Aforfeit any entry fees paid and be requested to leave the Showground. The same penalty will apply to anyone\u000Aseen jumping the practice fence in the \u201CRidden Collecting Ring\u201D against the flags. See Health & Safety Statement below.\u000A15 It is the Exhibitors\u2019 responsibility to ensure that their exhibits are free from any virus or disease such as strangles\u000Aand are in general good health.\u000A16 All Challenge Trophies are Perpetual and remain the property of the Committee. Horse Section Trophies must\u000Abe returned to the Show Secretary, at the holder\u2019s expense, no later than one month prior to the next show or immediately when requested. The holder will be held responsible for any loss or damage caused whilst in the holder\u2019s possession or whilst in transit. Any such damage must be made good by the holder. Non-compliance of this Rule will result in all future entries being refused.\u000A17 DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES WHILST ON THE SHOW GROUND.\u000AHEALTH & SAFETY\u000AThe organizers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone attending the Show. However, for these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and must obey the instructions of the Judges, Stewards and Officials. Please also see Rule 14 above > the \u201CIn-Hand Collecting Ring\u201D has been allocated to Leading Rein Ponies and In-Hand Exhibitors only for Health and Safety reasons. The practice fence in the \u201CRidden Collecting Ring\u201D has been flagged on the take-off side and must only be jumped towards the flags.\u000ALEGAL LIABILITY\u000ALower Chapel & District Sheepdog Society, its Committee nor the Owners of the land on which the Show is held accept any liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators, any other persons, animals or property howsoever it may be caused.\u000APLEASE DO NOT MUCK OUT HORSEBOXES OR TRAILERS ONTO ANY PART OF THE SHOWGROUND AND PLEASE PUT YOUR LITTER IN A BIN OR TAKE IT HOME WITH YOU.\u000ATHANK YOU - ENJOY YOUR DAY!\u000A16 LOWER CHAPEL & DISTRICT SHEEPDOG SOCIETY\u000A
