Stumbling Blocks.
To say it was easy would be a grossly
misleading, and the outbreak of Foot and
Mouth in 2001 risked undoing all the hard work
and the progress that had been made over
the previous years.
To steer the company through these turbulent
times the decision was made to build up the
domestic trade, specifically the growing halal
market, which we still do to this day. Foot and
Mouth spelt the end for live exports and the?
Farmers Ferry never sailed again. All efforts
were now made to make Kenilworth a success
story.
