The Kelp platform is designed to work well within your data limits, alongside your existing software systems.
Main platform pages are 10 MB each on the first visit (images are cached locally after first visit so repeat visits will not require the full download again).
The typical Starlink internet speed is 25-220 Mbps with users typically getting over 100 Mbps
100 Mbps is more than enough for up to 50 people to be simultaneously using kelp. on board.
What impacts data usage?
Content Type: Multimedia content like videos consumes the
most data, followed by images, while text uses the least.
Activity Type: Downloading materials uses the most data, while quizzes, exams, and discussions use minimal data.
Frequency of Use: Regular, short usage consumes less data than intensive or prolonged use with large downloads.
