THE GREAT OUTDOORS
ADVENTURE
& ACTIVITIES
Experience something new in Mid Wales.
A walk with a waterfall (Devil’s Bridge Falls). A tour on a motorcycle and sidecar (Mid Wales Tours). Mountain biking at the UK's first dedicated mountain bike trail centre at Coed Y Brenin. There are lots of activities to get you out and about in the great outdoors.
Mid Wales has two National Trails: Offa's Dyke Path that takes you through Mid Wales as part of a 177-mile journey, and Glyndwr's Way, 135 miles long; linking Welshpool, Machynlleth and Knighton (the only town in Wales that’s on two National Trails).
Try your hand at clay pigeon shooting, fishing, falconry, or bird watching in one of the region’s many nature reserves. Whatever outdoor pursuits you're interested in, you can tick them off your wish-list in Mid Wales.
