BARISTA TRAINER
Marco (pictured above right) worked for Illy Coffee for over two decades at the heart of the corporation. In that time, Marco developed all professional coffee training courses for Illy, both Barista and technical. He opened the University of Espresso in September 2010 and steadily trained over 100 baristas a week for four years. As Head of Quality at Illy UK, Marco looked after the brand’s leading clients and trained their staff to deliver the perfect cup of coffee in any environment. He has since opened his own bar in Soho, Bar Termini, to which he dedicates most of his time. Marco remains a solid enthusiast for training, ensuring all of his staff and students reach the highest levels of barista preparation and service.

WINE TRAINER
Charlie graduated in Biology and become and software developer, before following his true calling in the wine trade. He developed his knowledge
at Majestic Wines in the UK, before running a successful independent wine shop in London, under the guidance of two Masters of Wine.
He then moved into wine PR, representing the Port Trade in the UK.
A certi ed WSET educator, he has led many tastings and visited too many wineries around the globe to count! He has also assisted in numerous grape harvests within France and Spain to develop a true understanding of the wine business from grape to bottle.

and representatives to provide students on both our Spirits & Mixology and bespoke courses with a premium training experience that they can transfer into their work on board as well as into a career post-yachting.

Established in 1790, Hunters & Frankau has imported Havanas into the United Kingdom since cigar smoking was rst enjoyed in Britain. In recent years, Hunters & Frankau have concentrated on improving the standards
of knowledge and presentation in British cigar shops and now brings this expertise to the yachting community with our specialist cigar workshop and course.

FLORISTRY TRAINER
‘Sachi’ studied ower art in Japan and then moved to Montreal in Canada to study French whilst at the same time working as a orist to increase her English skills. Following her move to France in 2007, she worked in a prestigious and popular ower boutique in Cannes for 4 years and then began working as a freelance orist. Her business creates oral decorations for both large and small events for weddings, hotels, boutiques and yachts. Her arrangements
are original and meticulous with a re ned Japanese in uence, but they also encompass the classic, vintage, modern and Provençal styles.
