Catered for stewards/esses who have 1-3 season’s experience on board, this course has been designed to arm you with more refined skills and expertise in all interior departments, in a jam-packed 5 days.
A fun and very hands-on course, it covers all below elements as set out in the GUEST Certifications Guidelines:

Course Outline
During the week in this incredibly interactive course, the delegates are given the tools necessary to develop leadership skills and successfully set up and manage other crew in service, housekeeping and laundry. There is a full day of Interior Administration, Human Recourses and Communication skills which will empower you with organisation skills to master the fundamentals of the Interior.
Housekeeping, valet skills and laundry departments are all covered with specifics like sewing, shoe / garment care and even floristry are practiced. All elements of Service are covered, on an intermediate level including: coffee, caviar and cigars as well as two live lunch services with real guests and all areas of service are able to be practically applied with Synchronised Cloche Service, Silver Service, Butler Service and even Carving, Filleting and Flambé. The organisation and management of events and destination planning is also included.
Key Outcomes
All passing students are accredited with a GUEST Certificate – 100% attendance rate required.
Price
All courses include training material for the duration of the
5-day course, provision of training equipment, materials and products, as well as shirts as uniform and a chef for the live lunches.
Minimum of 2 – 6 students per course to ensure optimal training results.
