Community Rail
Community rail is a grassroots movement in
Britain that includes community rail partnerships
and station adopter groups.
Working with local, regional, and national
partners, Community Rail Partnerships engage
communities and promote social inclusion,
community wellbeing, economic development,
and sustainable travel. They also collaborate with
train operators to improve and revitalise stations.
The Community Rail Network offers support and
advice through their membership, connecting partnerships and groups and
advocating for community rail with government, the rail industry, and the wider
voluntary and community sector.
