An Exciting Season
Ahead for Our Youngsters.

The 2023/24 season proved to be a very mixed bag for last year’s
Youth team under the leadership of back row work horse; Alfie Thomas,
who remains the captain for this season and Josh Evans who comes in as
vice captain.
The team played 24 games and won a total of 11. In the first half of the
season, before Christmas, the team only managed 4 wins, with some tough
opposition in the league. January saw an influx of players from the under
16s, who were very keen to step up. These six young men made a huge
impact from the off and they certainly weren’t daunted by the challenge.
Will Herdman even scored from the wing in his debut game against
Abercwmboi, which allowed us to clinch the game!
The team played 11 games in the New year, winning 7; some in a nail
bitingfashion. A total of 27 players were involved in the squad throughout
