Coffee/Barista Intensive
This highly interactive course provides insight into the history, origins and evolution of coffee. Aimed at all crew who are intrigued and curious about the depth and history of coffee. Upon completion, students will know and understand the simplified the principles of coffee-making, providing skills to make and present a variety of perfect cups of coffee.
Developed and delivered by our very own ex-Barista, it involves all aspects in operating a coffee machine on-board a superyacht as well as Milk mastering - learning to perfectly froth low fat milk, rice milk, soy milk, almond milk and more... An informative and interesting course, the Barista Intensive Modules cover a minimum of half a day, and include elements set out in the GUEST Certifications Guidelines for the following modules;

This half day to 2-day course provides an intensive, extensive and fun understanding of barista techniques, from bean to brewing. Through practical demonstration, students are taught to deliver consistent quality whilst operating quickly in order to produce numerous hot drinks simultaneously and to serve them with the highest level of excellence to owners, guests or clients. Latte art is also taught using simple tactics to break down language barriers and help with consistency.
Key Outcomes
All passing students are accredited with a GUEST Certificate – 100% attendance rate required.
Price
Prices are set at vary depending on length of course and location of training. Minimum of 2 - 6 students per course to ensure optimal training results.
