Safe and Sound is honored to partner with the Federal Bureau of Investigations to premier In the Aftermath at this year’s National Summit. In the Aftermath is a documentary project filmed by the Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) of the FBI to shed light on the personal stories
and lessons learned of those directly impacted by school shootings. The project explores the life-long journeys of survivors, victims’ families, first responders, and communities in the aftermath of unthinkable tragedy. The VRU tells their stories and offers resources and ideas to prevent future tragedies and promote safe and sound schools.
