Multi-Tiered Systems of Support

The framework of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) is useful to guide schools in meeting the academic, behavioral, and mental health needs of all students. In this presentation, MTSS will be defined and described. Participants will be introduced to resources and tools for conducting needs assessments and enhancing the capacity for addressing behavioral, social-emotional, and mental health needs in schools.
Considerations for the Reopening of Schools During COVID-19

The REMS TA Center will provide a national snapshot of reopening considerations for K-12 schools based on needs assessment activities conducted throughout
the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants will hear what aspects of reopening are important to consider from a continuity of operations perspective, example practices being implemented by schools, districts and state education agencies across the country, and considerations for the execution of key emergency preparedness activities within this context, such as conducting drills and exercises with social distancing. Additional REMS TA Center resources and opportunities for support will also be shared.
