Meet the Jeffco/DeAngelis Foundation
The DeAngelis Foundation is proud to partner with Safe and Sound Schools with a shared commitment to enhance school safety for all students and staff. The Frank DeAngelis Center for Community Safety was created to support law enforcement and school safety training and tactics for mass casualty tragedies.
As the District of Columbine High School and Deer Creek Middle School, Jeffco Schools know firsthand the importance of preparedness and response to critical events. The Center is a place where law enforcement and school safety officials can have the difficult conversations, test tactics, share lessons learned; both failures and successes. It is the opportunity for realistic training in a school environment.
