EDGE LANE, OPENSHAW
Edward Architecture secured planning permission from Manchester City Council in November 2020 to build
216 homes on Edge Lane, Openshaw.
The scheme comprises a mix of 1 & 2-bedroom apartments and 2, 3 & 4-bedroom houses across a range of tenures including market sale, shared ownership, private and affordable rent. We have played a key role in securing the
planning approval and will have continued involvement in the project during the construction phase. This is a 100% affordable housing scheme, and the site is in full accordance with Housing Quality Indicators and National Space standards.
