ident (retiring at the end of May 2024), Ron Vaughn, and his wife Renée, were honored with the award. I was donating an 11 x 14-inch canvas print of my UT minarets and moon for the silent auction, and Dr. Sylvia Campbell, president of the Clinic, asked if she could present the Vaughns with the canvas and, of course, I was honored.
The last event of our week was meeting artist, Louis Mar- koya, at the Imagine Museum and listening to a talk he pre- sented about his artwork, much of it 3-D lenticular, and his work with surrealist Salvador Dali (whom we’ve gotten in- terested in) over 40 years ago, and the influence it had on his art. If you get a chance, before his exhibition concludes at the end of July, visit the Imagine Museum in St. Petersburg. It’s simply Dali-ightful!
