In October, I went with Bert Reket to the Grotto for the first time - yes, the first time. I know, crazy huh? The purpose of our trip up the peninsula was to get some photos of the fall colours, and the conditions for me, being overcast, were favourable for outdoor shooting. When we reached the Grotto, the winds coming off the water were high, fierce at times, and the waves crashing on the shore created a plethora of photo ops. This was the first real outing I had with my new iPhone 8 Plus, which is water resistant, and believe me, I found out it was. This image was created using an app called Slow Shutter Cam, with an exposure time of 1/4 second. - Greg McMillan
