Providing Fascinating Travel Experiences
  Ljubljana
You will most certainly visit the country's capital, Ljubljana. It is a "green" city with obvious charm in which nature has its place; in fact, there are many parks and protected natural areas.
Not to be missed when you are in Lubljana: The Dragon Bridge and its impressive sculptures dating f rom the beginning of the 20th century. The central market
How about three markets for the price of one? Good news: this is the case with the Ljubljana Central Market, which includes the open-air market, the covered market as well as the Plečnik covered market located by the Ljubljanica river.
Postojna cave
Formerly called “Adelsberg cave”, the Postojna cave is one of the most beautiful attractions in the Karst massif region, about fifty kilometers from the capital Ljubljana. Open your eyes wide; the spectacle of this cave and its twenty kilometers of karst tunnels is simply magnificent! For more than 180 years, no less than 30 million visitors have enjoyed this natural spectacle.
Predjama Castle
Impossible to miss it, the castle of Prejama is literally placed on the mountainside, which is not common, it must be admitted. Built in the 13th century, it also has the particularity of mixing styles and, depend- ing on the part you visit, it is sometimes Gothic, sometimes Roman, which architecture lovers will appreciate. You will find this castle next to the town of Postojna and its famous cave.
Lipica stud farm
You are here in the cradle of Lipizzaner horses with their recognizable white coats. This stud farm located on the Karst plateau dates from 1580 and is logically one of the oldest in the world. Here you can see shows and classic horse-riding training sessions, unless you choose to climb aboard a cab or, for the more experienced, take a horseback ride. Lake Bled
Considered the "pearl of Slovenia", Alpine Lake Bled is 45 km from the capital. It is a real postcard that is in front of your eyes: the lake in the middle of which is an islet and its magnificent castle give the impres- sion of being in the middle of a dream!
The Primorska wine region
For Cartesians, here's one tasty and not the least reason to visit Slovenia: the Primorska wine region. You will taste Slovenian wines here and can go on the wine routes to the Italian border, near Goriška Brda. In Slovenian Istria, famous for its white malvazija, or in the Vipava valley and its native grape varieties, you should not be bored when it comes to tasting!
