Romanian villages
This is one of the major attractions of a trip to Romania. These villages have managed to preserve their charm. Some of these villages are made up largely of wooden houses. This is particularly the case of those of Maramures, a region in the north where this wood culture is very present. It is a pleasure to walk in these villages, the meetings are always nice! Some curiosities are worth the detour!
The monasteries
In the north of the country, in Moldova and Bucovina, you can visit a set of painted Orthodox monasteries. Their particularity is that they are completely covered with magnificent painted frescoes.
