This novel, published on August 29, 2008, is an account of love between a wealthy businessman Kemal and a poorer distant relation Fusun during the period 1975 to 1984 in Istanbul. Although less frequented by the casual tourist, Pamuk has established an actual "Museum of Innocence", based on the museum he describes in his novel. In it he recreates scenes of everyday life and culture of Istanbul, to give the viewer a taste of the Historical period in which the novel is set. After

Your day will start with a stroll from the old city of Istanbul to the Golden Horn to catch a regular Bosporus cruise between the Asian and European continents.
