  Why visit Singapore?
Do not be so reductive as to think that Singapore is just an airport hub serving as a stopover for the rest of Asia. The City-State, as it is called, can be visited during a simple stay, and you will not be bored! Entertainments, various activities, multicultural society with Chinese, Indian, Oriental, but also British influences, one of the best Asian gastronomies, and a lively nightlife.
Gardens: For the first leg of your stay in Singapore, why not go for a walk to the Botanical Garden including the National Orchid Garden and its orchid collection. The Gardens by the Bay are not to be missed with their Supertree Grove (large trees).
Merlion: You cannot miss a photo with the Singapore Merlion. It is the symbol of the city-state. This 8.6-meter tall statue of a lion's head with a fish body symbolizes the legend of the Singapore Foundation.
