Our world is underpinned by variables and the patterns they weave, all of this built on the foundation of the invisible mathematics of our universe. Our human brain is wired to search for these patterns; it is how we learn most efficiently. This innate desire allows us to quickly sense the patterns in the harmonies that we listen to so we can hum along to them; instantly.
Learning is without doubt the most extraordinary journey we will experience throughout life; whether that be in the relationships we form or the moment when we are swept away as we see the moon rise above the ocean; awestruck by both its beauty and the complexity of the patterns that led to that event.
Every child is curious and wants to
understand their world. Our job, as educators, is to provide learners with the prompts that open their eyes so they can examine their world and marvel at that beauty. The learning journey never ends, as it never ceases to amaze us with its rewards. So, let’s make that journey fascinating; rich to the point where all learners crave ‘the journey’ every moment they have breath in their mortal bodies.

So, now we need to create a curriculum that reflects a conceptual approach to learning, but before we do this we have one other hurdle to put in its place.
